lasu students seek the postponement of second semester exam



The SUG which is the representative of students on campus seek a postponement of examination date that was scheduled to be held on the 23rd of November, the students argued that the state of the university is not secure and the students are not ready for the examination as a result of low attendance of lecturers in the school. So the student union government of Lagos State University which is known as one of the strongest in the country uses her vibrant and articulate powerful voice to seek a postponement in date by the management. It was said that a meeting was scheduled between the SUG and the acting VC of the school at Ikeja college of Medicine on Friday (13th of November). PAfter which the student union release a statement which says:
The Date for The Exam according to School Calendar still stagnant, Though there are many false rumours in school about the postponement of the exam, we  would like to urge all Lasuites to keep calm as we are await the outcome of the Senate Meeting scheduled for Monday. The outcome of the meeting will be published in school bulletin.

Amaechi, Fashola Emerge Super-ministers

  ABUJA —President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, assigned portfolios to the 36 new ministers with former Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, SAN, and former Governor of Rivers State Rotimi Amaechi emerging as the administration’s point men in the drive to improve the country’s infrastructure and transportation system. Fashola emerged Minister of Power, Works and Housing with the distinction of having two permanent secretaries working under him. Amaechi on his part, will supervise the nation’s transportation system, including Aviation, with a minister of State, Aviation under him.
