Young Lady Dies From Abortion Complications In Bauchi, 4 Arrested
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, of the Bauchi State Police Command, DSP Haruna Mohammed, Sunday, confirmed the arrest of four suspects who allegedly killed a 25-year-old lady, one Rose Luka, through abortion complications. Disclosing this to newsmen in Bauchi, the PPRO gave the names of the suspects as Hillary Joseph, Mudasshiru Bako, Nasiru Haruna and Hamisu Yashi. He said the lady was buried in a shallow grave in the Bayan Gari area of the metropolis by the suspects after administering an abortion medication to the deceased. According to Mohammed, the quack medicine seller, Bako, 30, of the same address, who reportedly administered and sold the abortion drugs to the victim, was also arrested. He said, “On November 9, 2015 at about 17:00hrs,following intelligence report, Police detectives attached to Tafawa Balewa housing Estate Division Bauchi arrested four suspects in Bayan Gari Area who conspired and hurriedly buried a 25-year-old female, Rose Luka from Adamawa State in a shallow grave at a compound in Bayan Gari. “Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim allegedly died as a result of complications from abortion. “The scene of crime was visited by Forensic experts attached to Criminal investigation department and corpse exhumed, photographed and taken to Bauchi University Teaching hospital for autopsy,” Mohammed added. The PPRO further revealed that exhibits recovered from the suspects includes, two Shovels, one sachet of Diclofene tablets, one sachet of menbendezalen with four tablets, Daltic five tablets, Predimisolene Eight tablets, Bunto blood tonic and a bottled water mixed with substance suspected to be drugs. “All four suspects have been charged to Chief Magistrate Court 1, Bauchi and on December 12, 2015, they will appear for prosecution,” Mohammed noted.

ARMED ROBBERS  IN POLICE UNIFORM I had an agonizing experience with some men who claim to be "Nigerian Police Officers" on duty at the Amuwo Odofin/Festac axis,  today Friday 4th May, 2018.
